Method
- In the food processor, pulse the quick oats until it turns into a flour-like powder. Set aside in a bowl.
- Add the dates to the food processor and start pulsing to cut them into smaller pieces. If they are sticking to the blade, add half of the water.
- Add the almond butter to the dates in the food processor and start pulsing. Add the remaining water and pulse until the mixture starts gathering into a ball.
- To the bowl with the quick oats, add the rest of the dry ingredients and mix.
- Add the dates and almond butter mixture to the bowl containing the dry ingredients. Start mixing with your hands until well combined.
- Using the cookie scoop, create all of your protein balls. Once done, start rolling them in your hands to smooth them into small balls.
- Refrigerate overnight and enjoy!
Notes
You can enjoy these protein balls as soon as they are done, but they will be better the next day as they will be less sticky.
