Best Pizza EVAH!
delicious recipe for The Greatest Pizza at home
As I explained in my recipe for my homemade pizza dough, I worked on this recipe after my search for the best one in the town for months. My partner and I tried so many pizzas over the course of months to find our favorite. We ended up finding it: mine.

How Did I create this pizza
When we were on the hunt for our new favorite pizza, I asked my partner what were his favorite toppings so I could create THE best one for us. Here was his list:
- Red sauce (marinara)
- Any meat, preferably some sort of cured sausage
- Mushrooms
- Cheese (duh)
Quite straight forward. However, being the person that I am, I decided to kick things up a notch. Not only would I add all of his preferred toppings, I would also add roasted garlic and finish the pizza with honey AND fresh cilantro. Listen, it might sound a bit crazy, but until you’ve tried it, you can’t complain about it.
During the development phase of this recipe, I’ve tried various thickness for the sausage, spicy sausage or not, more or less cheese, hot honey or not… I wanted to perfect It for us. Every component needed to be perfect.
Eventually, I figured out the perfect ratio of all toppings for our new favorite one in town. It was such hard work, having to try pizzas after pizzas, but so worth it in the end. Now, it is your time to make it and enjoy it!
why you need to make this recipe
As much as I can appreciate tradition, the most interesting and fun part of cooking is being inspired by tradition while making it your own. Most people have had pizza before. Arguably, most people have had homemade pizza in the past too. The only difference is most people haven’t had this exact one. I know, I am biased, but this could become your new favorite pizza ever.
You get what you need from a pizza: a crust, a tomato sauce, and melty cheese. However, with this pizza, you are getting a lot more: spicy, roasted, fresh, sweet. It sounds overwhelming, but all these flavors blend perfectly together. Every bite will be absolutely delicious and I guarantee you won’t regret making this recipe.

My fave pizza ever!
